The Rock is a 620,000 sq ft shopping centre located in the centre of Bury, Greater Manchester. The Rock was completed in 2010, having been developed by Hammerson Plc for Lloyds. Hammerson undertook the development of the asset following the collapse of Thornfield Properties in early 2010.

Major retailers at the scheme include Debenhams, Primark, H&M and Marks & Spencer. In addition The Rock has a large leisure offer including restaurants, a bowling alley and a multiscreen Vue cinema.

Travel and parking

By car: The Rock is in Bury town centre.

The town is at the junction of the A56 and A58. The A56 runs north-south between Yorkshire and Cheshire - and links the town to the M60 J17 via the Manchester Road & Bury New Road. The A58 runs east-west and connects Bury to the M66 J2 (less than 2 miles) and Bolton respectively.
